Did you know that shampoos (bars or liquids) made with SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) traditionally made from petroleum is a harsh industrial strength surfactant that strips oils and causes irritation to sensitive scalps?

Did you know that cold process shampoo bars (basically cold process soap) have a PH between 9-10.5 while the hair and scalp naturally sit around 4.5-5.5? This is why you should ALWAYS use an acidic rinse after it.

Using high PH soap on hair can:
- raise the cuticle layer of the hair shaft
- cause roughness, tangling & frizz
- lead to dryness and breakage over time
